One Forest. Amazon Action Forum – May 3, 2020 94

The Amazon Rainforest experienced its worst year of deforestation in over ten years in 2019. Now with the coronavirus spreading throughout a highly susceptible population of indigenous people and rising deforestation continuing to push the forest towards an irreversible tipping point, the forest and its people are in an extremely vulnerable state.

Join One Forest as we gather experts in Amazonian science, NGO leaders, and indigenous representatives in a panel discussion to better understand the current crisis in the Amazon region and raise money for the Amazon Emergency Fund for Covid-19 relief. The Amazon Action Forum will be a platform to share knowledge and connect with direct avenues of change to support the Amazon forest and its people.
