Nieri is a young Wixárika (huichol), whose dream is to travel with his rock band to play at a concert in great Mexico City. But his father, who is a Mara'akame (shaman), has other plans for him, for he must follow tradition and find the blue deer in his dreams, so that he can learn to heal and become a new Mara'akame. Nieri travels to the great capital where being completely lost and closer than ever to his dream, but in the midst of adventure he will find his vision.
