The value of the land reflects one of the most serious situations facing the current field in Mexico: the predation of peasant land due to the purchase and sale of ejidal land between entrepreneurs and peasants. For some, the value of the land goes beyond the productive; for others is an opportunity for economic improvement where work is mainly based on land transformation. Basilio is a farmer living in Tanil, a town belonging to the municipality of Umán, in Yucatan, Mexico, where most of the peasants have already sold their land. Basil fears that his situation will change in a short time. This documentary shows only a fragment of the difficult circumstances that peasants experience and raises important questions about the future of the camp.
