On Feb 18th Tarauacá river the river in Acre Brazil received an unprecedented amount of rain that has left the city flooded with water up to 12 meters high. 70% of the city has been taken by the waters, many families have been left without a home.
There are many families that need food, remedies, etc. Many have lost their boats in the flood and are unable to return to the village and a boat for them is really essential as it helps them constantly in the indigenous land and when they need to come here to the city.
