Huni Kui People, Acre, Brazil 83

The Huni Kui, or “true people” are true jewel and an example of how Amazon indigenous peoples have been able to preserve their culture and ancestral relationship alive with the spirits of the forest. In addition to being guardians of nature and examples of resistance to the interests of governments and private companies (now more than ever).

Thanks to the festival Eskawata Kayawei to Ninawa Pai da Mata, to all the villages of the river humaitá but especially to the spirits of the forest that guided us, cared and filled with the healing energy of the forest. So Alegría Muita Gratidão. Haux Haux!
